Where is your exact location?

We are 3 to 5 mins. walk to UST near A.H. Lacson gate. Exact location is 1060 Dos Castillas St, Sampaloc, Manila, just behind Dominican School. Using Google Maps or Waze, please search "Athena Ladies Dorm".

Do you have Wifi in all the rooms?

Yes, FREE fiber WIFI.

Do you accept female dormers only?​

Yes, Athena Dorms is only for females.

​

How can you monitor if the student is sick or if she did not go home?

We have a thermal scanner at the lobby. We can also monitor if the student did not go to school through the BIOMETRICS or if the student did not sleep in our dorm. We also have an in-house Dorm Supervisor/Custodian 24/7 who monitors and takes care of the tenants.

What are the available units?

We have bed space and room for rent. Bedspace is renting with 4 persons in a room. Room for rent is the same unit but only one person is in-charge of signing the contract and paying for the rent. This is ideal for a group of friends who wants to avail of discounted group rate.

How much is the rent?

For bed space, rent ranges from Php 5,500 to Php 6,500 depending on room.

Room for rent is P21,000 to Php 24,000 depending on room.

Do you have solo rooms?

Yes. That will be our room for rent at P21,000 to Php 24,000 per month.

What are the terms of payment?

Two months deposit, one month advance plus 11 Post-dated checks. For cash basis, we require 3 months deposit.

​

What is the mode of payment?

Post dated checks or cash.

​

How long is the minimum contract?

One year, August to July 30.

​

Do you accept transient or short term?

Depends on availability.

​

Are there any additional charges on top of the rent?

Yes, electricity and water bill which will depend on actual use.

​

What is inside the room?

Aircon, Double Deck Bed frame with Mattress and pillow, cabinet/locker, study table.

Do you have CR inside each room?

Yes and it has shower heater and bidet

​

What are the other amenities included in the rent?

Free WIFI, Free use of common/study area with kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, water dispenser per floor.

Do you have FREE room cleaning?

Yes, FREE once a week general cleaning per room with UV care disinfection.

​

Do you have fire exit?

Yes, 2 fire exits per floor with fire alarm, smoke detector, and FIRE SPRINKLER.

​

Do you have curfew?

No, because we trust our dormers to be responsible but parents can request us to impose curfew for their kids if they want.

 

How about security?

We have 24/7 receptionist/guard on-duty monitoring all our CCTV camera. There is an electronic main door and another inner door that is accessible through BIOMETRICS.

Do you offer Laundry? 
Yes, we have a laundry shop partner who picks up and delivers laundry daily and does pressing (ironing) at a reasonable price.

Do you accept only UST students? 
We also accept students from other schools but 90% of our dormers are from UST.

Does it flood in your dorm? 
No

Are guests allowed inside the rooms?

No. For security purposes, guests can only stay at the lobby.

Who manages/owns the dorm?
Athena Dorms is managed by Dra. Ruth Ang. She is also a graduate of UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
